  1. Post update

Leggie Amelia Kerr will bowl the final over.

That’s what makes Rachael Haynes so hard to bowl to. She moves around and is able to get her hands through the ball. She can paddle, lap and do different things and you get flustered as a bowler.

  3. Aus 144-4

Big finish to the over from Australia. Jensen loses her line, drifting onto the pads and Rachel Haynes hoists her high for six over fine leg. It only went 55m but that’s enough with these small boundaries.

  4. Roberto Colombi:Hope we don’t play the Aussies in the semis – they’re looking in ominous and devastating form against the Kiwis.

  5. Aus 136-4

Better for Australia. Rachel Haynes shovels Jensen over the leg side for four.

  6. Aus 132-4

Singles from the first two balls, as Kristen predicted.

Australia are just losing their momentum slightly.

These two will run really well together in these last two overs. They’ve played a lot of games together both for New South Wales and Australia. They won’t miss any singles.

  8. Aus 130-4

    Perry 14, Haynes 2

Peterson finishes her four overs with a respectable 2-31.

    Two overs to go.

  9. Aus 128-4

Australia won’t want this innings to fizzle out.

Elysse Perry dances down and whips the ball to the mid-wicket fence.

Rachael Haynes never worries about stats; she just does what the game needs and here she needs to be on it straight away.

  11. Post update

Rachel Haynes is in at number six.

Wow. That’s a great catch. Not only has Suzie Bates had to move to her side but she’s had to take it above her head. Peterson is taking key wickets again.

  13. WICKET

    Mooney c Bates b Peterson 60 (Aus 122-4)

How about that for a catch! Brilliance from Suzie Bates sees Beth Mooney on her way. Mooney targets the straight boundary again and looks to have enough on it but Bates runs around from her position at long-on and takes a running catch above her head.

    Great stuff.

  14. Aus 122-3

    Mooney 60, Perry 8

Ellyse Perry’s troublesome hip, which made her an injury doubt for this game, looks to be fine as she sprints a three.

Three overs to go. Australia will still be eyeing 150.

  15. Aus 118-3

New Zealand have a line of four fielders square on the off-side ring. Mooney chips one over them for a couple. Leigh Kasperek has kept things tight. Can she finish her over?

  16. Post update

A few more of these and Australia will be on for a very good score…

  17. Aus 114-3

    Mooney 56, Perry 4

New Zealand need more wickets if they are going to really pull this back. Perry is happy to give herself time to get in for now, knocking singles to fielders in the deep.

I hope Beth Mooney changes gears now. We know she can play the anchor role but she needs to wind it up now because Australia have got so much depth. Australia will be looking at 160 now.

  19. Aus 109-3

All the talk was about Perry’s fitness before this game but so far it has been the understated Beth Mooney’s knock that has done the job for Australia.

She may not be one of Australia’s star names but she keeps on going. Mooney adds another four through the off side and there’s a grunt of anger from the bowler.

  20. Post update

One of the biggest cheers of the day greets Ellyse Perry’s arrival to the middle.
