Mumbai:Politicians across the party lines wished Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after he tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday.

Taking to twitter, senior Bachchan informed that he has tested positive for coronavirus and requested whoever was in close proximity to the actor in the last 10 days to get themselves tested for Covid-19.

“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested ! (sic)” the actor said in a tweet.

Maharastra Cabinet Minister Aslam Shaikh informed that the actor’s health is stable a team of doctors is taking good care of senior Bachchan. “Sent a team to their house Jalsa to test Jaya Bachchan and Aaradhya,” he said.

He further said Amitabh was asymptomatic, while junior Bachchan developed mild symptoms.

Meanwhile, the reports are suggesting that his son Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive for the virus.

“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you, (sci),” junior Bachchan tweeted.

BJP leader and former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said wished the superstar a speedy recovery. “We all wish and pray for your speedy recovery! Get well soon @SrBachchan ji! (sic),” he tweeted.
